The purpose of this web based portfolio is to document my Educational Technology (EDTEC) experience while attending graduate school at San Diego State University.

I am currently an active duty Lieutenant in the United States Coast Guard. My primary specialty and background is in the field of Afloat Operations. I was given a great opportunity to expand my value to the Coast Guard by learning another specialty, when selected to attend graduate school as part of the Coast Guard's Performance Technology program.

Throughout my ten year Coast Guard career, every job to which I have been assigned involved training other Coast Guard men and women, attending countless other training sessions, and improving the performance of those under my charge. This began my interest in the Coast Guard's Performance Technology program and the EDTEC program at San Diego State University. Upon completion of the EDTEC program at San Diego State University, I will further my experiences in the realm of Performance Technology at Coast Guard Training Center Petaluma, California.
